Lunar Care has been built in response to a clearly identified need for high-quality, local residential provision in the London Borough of Enfield — so young people can stay connected to their schools, families, and communities while making meaningful progress.
The 4+1 Model
Four young people in the main house and one in a self-contained annex. The smaller capacity lets us match placements carefully, respond flexibly to individual needs, and offer a lower-stimulation space when it helps — without breaking the stability of the wider group.
- Up to 5 young people aged 13–15
- 1:2 staffing with waking nights
- Trauma-informed, neurodiversity-aware
Our intention is to provide more than a placement; we aim to create a home where children feel genuinely valued, respected, and supported.

Behind the warm, familiar feel of the home is a deliberate operational model — small group living, education-led leadership, structured therapeutic frameworks, and the regulatory rigour the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 require.
